Çağrı Deliceırmak was born in Nicosia in 1978. In 2000, he completed the B.Sc program of the Near East University Maritime Faculty Deck Department as one of the first graduates. Between 2000 and 2008, he worked as an oceangoing officer on bulk carriers and container ships owned and operated by the UK-based Zodiac Maritime Agencies LTD. In 2008, he started to work as the Captain of the Near East University Training and Research ship and as a lecturer at the Near East University Faculty of Maritime Studies. He has been continuing these duties at the University of Kyrenia since 2013. In 2024, he was appointed as the Quality Management Coordinator of the Faculty of Maritime Studies at the University of Kyrenia.
In 2020, he completed his master's degree (M.Sc) in the Department of Maritime Transportation and Management Engineering at the University of Kyrenia, Institute of Graduate Studies and is still doing his doctorate in the same department. His scientific studies are in the fields of Marine Sciences and Oceanography. He has four international scientific articles, more than ten national/international scientific conference paper publications, and participated in TUBITAK 1001 projects.
